Karen, this salad is first-rate! I never would have thought to use barbecue sauce in a salad dressing, but it's wonderful. :)
This was really good! A nice, light meal... but with the chicken -- it is filling! We'll be making this more often. We also made it with turkey bacon for the bacon, omitted the egg (husband doesn't care for them), and used light/lowfat for the dressing... still WONDERFUL!
This is a great change from regular plain salad. The salad dressing is really good! The only change I made was I used light mayo instead of regular. I also made bbq chicken on the grill to go with it. Thanks for a keeper!!
This salad is wonderful!! I've made this recipe at least 6 times. I was looking for something new to make for the cafeteria at work. I found this! It is now a favorite. Employee's stop me in the hall to ask me when i'm going to make it again! Thanks Karen!
We made this for the two of us, so reduced the chicken and greens a bit, used only 2 slices of bacon but still used 2 tomatoes. We halved the dressing, but felt it needed all the lemon juice. I will make this again really soon and add an avocado and green onion to it. It's delicious!
Wonderful salad! I varied it a bit by adding spiral pasta. The dressing is outrageous!!
What a great salad! I needed to use up some leftover chicken & had all the ingredients on hand for this recipe. I am not usually a huge fan of barbeque sauce, but with the mayo & lemon, it made a nice dressing. I'm looking forward to leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Thanks, Karen!
We really enjoyed this salad. Very easy to make. It looked good, too. I didn't add the salt-it didn't need it. I used a honey-garlic barbecue sauce-I would use a bit less next time. The lemon juice added a nice freshness to the dressing.
