I did use canned tomatoes but otherwise stuck to recipe, easy and DELICIOUS, we love curry and this is a fabulous recipe, thank you, loved it!!!! This recipe was made and enjoyed for Spring PAC 2013
this is fantastic! have made it for several holiday dinners and it's always a favorite ( : eta: i've subbed canned tomatoes (1 14.5 oz can stewed for the 2 fresh) and reduced the butter (by up to 1/2) and this still comes out awesome. thought those facts only fair to mention, truly exelent recipe
I love Indian food, but I only eat free range meat, so i'm farely limited at restaurants. This was absolutely fabulous. Tasted and looked authentic. Next time I would make double the sauce as we found there was'nt quite enough. A must to impress your friends!
We made this tonight and it was a real success. We didn't have any tomatoes on hand, so we used some tomato paste instead and it turned out really well. We had less than two pounds of chicken, but the amount of sauce was good, as we enjoyed it with some naan.
I love Indian food and this is excellent! I suggest seeding the tomatoes for improved texture.
