This is such a great soup recipe! I loved the combination of avocado and chickpeas. Yummy! I used veggie broth and omitted the chicken. Great-tasting soup that is healthy, too!! Thank you. :)

This soup is absolutely fantastic! The heat from the pepper, the creaminess of the avocado and just the taste of the whole creation is excellent! I made this as directed with the exception of adding the avocado after putting the soup in the bowl. I will absolutely make this again! Made for ZWT7. Thanks Andi! :)

just made this for dinner. awesome! and quick. i added carrots and green peppers, and just used a tiny bit of canned chili peppers, so it wasnt too spicy. thanks!

Really easy to prepare, with wonderful flavor. I omitted the salt (personal preference). It was delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Never tried putting avocados in a soup - but this was fabulous!! I had no chickpeas on hand, so I subtituted simple navy beans and it was fantastic. Thanks!

Great soup - easy to make and easy to modify. I added some fresh thyme and sage to give it a little more flavor. I also think the next time I make this that I'll put in more jalapeno.
