  1. I was in a tremendous rush tonight, so I printed off this recipe and made it in less than 30 minutes. Everyone (husband, 4 boys, and me) loved it! I substituted sugar snap peas and Niblets corn for the squash- not because we don't like squash but because that is what I had on hand. It was fast, colorful, and delicious. I doubled the recipe and served it with stuffing, but it would also be good with rice.

  2. I totally enjoyed this dish! Only used 2 chicken breasts, but they were mutations (Huge and @ 3" thick). Doubled the cook time because of this. Used the full amount of veggies and also included mushrooms. The herbs/wine combination complimented both the chicken and the veggies. Added a little salt and pepper, and I was a very happy diner. Thanks Inez!

  3. Very good, easy, and fast! I didn't have any wine on hand, so I used chicken broth and it was good. Next time I might add some garlic.

  4. A very, very good recipe. I had all of the ingredients, and I used a dry white wine. I left the cover slightly off because I like a little crunch in the vegetable. The combination of herbs were fantastic with the chicken and vegetables. Definately a recipe that will be a repeat in my house. Thanks, MizzNezz....you 'done it again!!

  5. I read all the reviews and took into account what everyone said. I used sesame oil, added more veggies, doubled/used white balsamic vinegar, doubled the spices then added turmeric, garlic and a hint of ginger, salt and peppered to taste. Man! It was so good that everyone kept going back and pinching the wee bit of leftovers! Yeah, this will be happening again and soon. I have a whole chicken that I need to pick clean so I can make stock and the meat will go into round two of this. I would also serve it with quinoa or brown rice but it can easily stand on its own.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
