Great casserole! I prepared the stuffing with chicken broth instead of water and added a layer of garlic mashed potatoes between the stuffing and chicken. Although this recipe is very good with the cream of chicken soup, I will try it again using the same amount of chicken gravy. Thanks for sharing!

My husband loved this recipe. I had cut the recipe in half and was sorry ... he would have liked more leftovers.

I cut some calories with reduced-fat cream of chicken soup and skim milk. Added a layer of chopped broccoli before pouring on the soup mixture. Sprinkled some low-fat shredded cheese over the sauce before baking.

Will definitely make this recipe again!

Updated 11/12/2010: We added honeycrisp apple chunks, a splash of whiskey and white wine, and sprinkled panko bread crumbs over the top before adding the cheese. Yum!!

Fantastic recipe! I did dress this casserole up a bit with adding some cooked diced potatoes, chopped broccoli, and a few cooked carrots that I had lefted over from another dinner. I changed the baking of the chicken breast to, dicing up 1 and a half large chicken breast into bite size pieces and placed in flour to dust the pieces than fried in olive oil til browned than drained pieces on papertowel. I boiled some diced onion and celery in chicken broth and added the stuffing mix as stated on box than followed this recipe with added stuffing in bottom of a baking dish and than layered boiled diced potatoes, broccoli and carrots than added the chicken pieces and than covered with the soup and milk. Baked for 30 minutes and it turned out fabulous!! We really enjoyed this casserole!! Thanks for sharing the recipe!!

I did not dice the chicken. Just put the chicken breasts on top of the stuffing and baked and it was perfect.

I loved this and so did my husband. I used bone in thighs, I roasted them with the skin on then removed it before I placed it on the stuffing for the final 30 minutes, this was so good and easy too!

I made this for my boyfriend, Mark, and he loved it. I used Sage Stove Top stuffing mix as that was all I had on hand. It turned out perfect. On the side, I made Green Beans with Bacon and Onion. It was a hearty meal, which he enjoys after a long day at work! I will be making this again, definitely. It's easy to prepare and very inexpensive. Thank you! :)
