This is from 365 Ways to Cook Pasta. I eat this when I'm not feeling well.
- 1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 small carrot, cut in coins
- 2 tablespoons star shaped pasta (stellini)
- parmesan cheese
- Heat the broth, water and carrot slices to boiling.
- Simmer, covered, about 5 minutes until carrots are tender.
- Stir in the pasta, simmer, uncovered until the pasta is tender; 5-8 minutes. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with cheese.
