Simply delish. I used polish sausage and fresh chicken breast cut into pieces. Didn't have celery on hand (didn't feel like going out to get some), so used fried zucchini that I added at the last minute. I also used an extra can of broth. Will certainly do this again. Having leftovers tonight for supper.
Made for "I Recommend" Recipe Tag. This was fantastic and so easy. The flavors were just right and we were able to get two meals out of it - my kind of dish! Cook once eat twice! Most definitely will make this again and maybe even add some shrimp. Thanks KelBel for a great recipe!
This dish was excellent. I made the recipe exactly except I used bone-in chicken, so I boiled and deboned before putting the dish together. It had so much flavor. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. Will make it again.
Delicious! I used andouille sausage which added just that 'Cajun' heat to this dish. I added the rice uncooked and needed to add a little more broth to the pan. We enjoyed this simple and tasty dish very much. Thanks KelBel for a keeper.
Really fast to do, the whole thing didn't take me much more than 30 minutes start to finish. The steps went faster than I expected, I did the whole thing in a wok. The food processor helped too. I used only one pepper and added a handful of small frozen shrimp at the end. Realluy very very good and very fast and easy. Healthy too, nothing bad to say, 5 stars all the way. I'm not going to make me usual, much slower recipe any more after this one!
Delicious!! We really loved this quick and easy jambalaya. I used Andouille sausage which I think gave it a more authentic cajun flavor. The recipe didn't state whether the chicken or the rice was supposed to be cooked or uncooked before being added to the stew. I did what seemed logical, so, I cooked the rice and added the chicken, uncooked, browning it before adding the tomatoes and broth. My family devoured this and gave it 2 thumbs up. Thank you for winning the football pool so that I had the opportunity to make this wonderful recipe.
