      This is a classic comfort meal. I made some variations without changing the integrity of the recipe. I subbed tarragon as the herb because we like it. I used only peas as a veggie, and it came out great. The Kluski noodles are mandatory...... Regular egg noodles just don't cut it. Finally, I added a can of cream of chicken soup with herbs (new from Campbells) at the end. Then I mixed some softened butter with the breadcrumbs before topping the casserole. Yum from all!

      I have always favored chicken and noodles as a comfort food. This recipe definitely will be added to my comfort food section of my cookbook. I made it as directed and look forward to eating the left-overs tomorrow. Thanks for posting.

      I wanted an old fashioned comfort dish. It hit the spot. I changed it a little, I added extra broth and left out the pimentos as I didn't have any on hand. I'd omit the sage next time, since I'm not a fan. Otherwise very tasty.

      We loved this! I made it in a pinch for dinner tonight and it was very tasty. I only added a bit more broth. Great Flavor!
