      I made this last night and both my 11-year-old daughter and I loved it! Hearty, filling, tasty. HOWEVER, I have never seen lentils in a can, so I went ahead and bought a bag of lentils, which take only 20 minutes to cook, and used 2 cups of those instead of a can. It was all very good.

      OMG, this is excellent and so flavorful and filling. I did use tomatoes w/green chiles and that game it some extra spice. DH & DD both wanted theirs over rice, but I thought it was fine just the way it was. Makes a nice easy meal for a busy night and healthy as well. This will be on my make again soon list. Made for New Kid on the Block Tag.
