This is a really good tasting recipe. I tweeked it a little and used chicken broth instead of water and added a handful of frozen potato gnocchi to the bottom of the casserole dish. Excellent results. The starch from the potato resulted in a creamy gravy. Thanks for posting. This is a definate keeper.

This is to die for. We devoured this tasty comfort food. I made it using 4 chicken thighs and followed the recipe. This is a great dish to make for company served it with a side salad and stuffed zucchini. I will be making this again and soon, Thank you Sueie.

O.K......First of all, I was thrilled to see that my production looked exactly like the picture! How cool is that? Then what I suspected might be the case, was in fact the way it was....i.e. way too salty! But that was the onion soup. So.....i think the next time I make it (and I will make it again) I would cut back to 1/2 a pck. I also added twice the sour cream. I think some mushrooms might be nice added to it too. This time I served it with brown basmati rice and fresh broccoli. It is a keeper recipe....thanks Sueie.

I cut the recipe back to 1 chicken breast - worked with no problem - In fact I want to say this is a comfort food meal - great for company or on your own. I served it with boiled potato-which I mashed with a fork in the super gravy, Baked Onions that had a bit of honey on them & Sweet Potato rosti . The meal was wonderful - It was the kind that you say MMmm that was very good Thanks Sueie for an easy tasty recipe — posted Apr 10, 2004

This is a lovely, simple family meal, that we all enjoyed. The fresh parsley and sour cream at the end really gave it a refreshing lift. It was so easy to do, I made it at work again today (multiplied the recipe by 3).

This was a pretty tasty dish. I cooked the onions until they were a bit caramelized. As suggested by another reviewer I put some gnocchi in the bottom of the dish and that turned out good. This made really good leftovers and is something I would make again. I used 5 chicken breasts and they came out really juicy. Next time I think I will just dredge it in seasoned flour without the onion mix and just add the mix in later. It didn't seem to adhere to the chicken. Thanks for an interesting recipe.
