This is a childhood favorite and a true southern meal! Very easy to make with a great end result! Goes good over rice or by its self.
- 1 (32 ounce) box chicken broth
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 4 quarts water
- 3 -4 lbs chicken
- 1 lb dumplings
- salt and pepper
- Cook chicken with broth, bullion cubes and water until done.
- Remove chicken let cool and debone.
- Cook dumplings as directed on box.
- Then add chicken, salt and pepper.
