Chicken and Dumplings

"These are the best chicken and dumplings I have ever had! An old lady at my church makes these for Sunday lunch and you have to be at the front of the line to get any. A Southern favorite from sweet home Alabama. (Cooking times and servings may differ)"

  1. Thie recipe is AWESOME!!! I made it for my family as well as my friend's family who had just had surgery. Everyone raved over it! Even the leftover (what little there were) tasted great. Thanks SweetT for a wonderful "old timey" dinner.

  2. My Mother-in_law used to make this. Only she called it Chicken and Pastry. I made it for my grown boys and they had smiles on thier faces. Memories of "Regular Grandma", they said. Thanks for the good feelings.
