This dumpling recipe is THE BEST!! My husband usually asks for biscuit-style dumplings but the kids won' t touch them, so I tried this recipe and everyone asked for seconds! I asked my husband if they were good and he said I needed to open up a country restaurant! Thank you for the fantastic recipe! (BTW, I added carrots)
Made this for supper last night, using boneless breasts, I chopped up a couple of celery stalks, a whole medium onion to cook the chicken in, I used better than broth chicken base to add additional flavor to the broth. We love the firmer type dumpling instead of the spooned type ones which sometimes have a tendency to melt or disappear into the cooking liquid. Thanks for the wonderful recipe!!!!!
