Chicken and Corn Noodles

I used ramen noodles too, and like Dienia, found that I had to pop them into the microwave for a couple of minutes, not just to soften the noodle and the frozen veg a little more, but to heat them up a little more too.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 100 g cooked chicken breasts (lean and shredded)
  • 130 g frozen mixed vegetables (chopped 1 cup)
  • 150 g ramen noodles (or udon noodles, Obento specified)
  • 1 teaspoon taco seasoning (salt-reduced they specified powder)


  1. DO AT HOME - pack the chicken, begetables and noodles in a medium glass heatproof container with a lid and put the taco powder in a separte small container.
  2. DO AT WORK - pour enough boiling water over the chicken mixture to cover and set aside for 4 minutes and then drain MOST of the water away and add the taco powder and stir to combine.
