I am reviewing this without rating it with stars because I think I used the wrong kind of chips - I used plain tortilla chips instead of nacho flavored chips, which, after re-reading the recipe, is what I think it is calling for. This was easy to put together, the salsa is tasty. I didn't care much for the chicken because I thought it was kind of tasteless (eventhough I used plenty of taco seasoning - TheDancingCook's No Sugar Homemade Taco Seasoning #125802, which I use frequently for taco seasoning). I think the problem was that I didn't use the right kind of chips, which would have added a lot more flavor to the recipe. I will make this again as directed and update my review. Made for Photo Tag.
A lovely, refreshing dinner for a hot summers night. We loved this! I used chicken thighs that I cut into strips and these turned out very tender. I didn't sear the chicken in a frypan but instead decided to place it in a cooking paper (parchment paper) lined baking tray and added a tiny bit of margarine to the top of the chicken. The salsa I prepared about 1/2 a day in advance. Love the addition of the taco seasoning, it was not at all spicy but gave it lovely flaour. Enjoyed by all the family. Thanks Annacia!
