I have tried many recipes using flour. They have never been the one I looked for from my childhood. This was perfect. I only had sirloin veal on hand. Next time I will also have a lean pork also. Chicken breast would be a nice addition. I would not change a thing & I did think about adding some spice? Served with baked potatoes, mushrooms & salad. Thank you MizzNezz!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 453.59 g boneless veal steaks
  • 453.59 g pork steak
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 118.29 ml milk
  • 354.88 ml cracker crumbs


  1. Cut steaks in 1 inch cubes.
  2. Mix egg and milk.
  3. Alternate pieces of veal and pork on 6 skewers.
  4. Dip in egg mix then crumbs.
  5. Brown in hot oil.
  6. Put in baking pan.
  7. Add 1 inch water.
  8. Cover and bake at 350* for 40 minutes.
