Yeah baby! I put these in an airtight containter and they are still chewy and delish two days later! I used organic molasses and Ghiradelli semi sweet chips and I have not been able to stop eating them! Thanks for a great new favourite!

Wowee Zoweee! These are something special. The molasses adds a carmelly flavor to the cookies. I don't think I could make them any other way now! Thanks Che~Sara!

These are not pretty cookies, but they sure do taste wonderful. They came out flat and monochromatic, kind of like the color of the milk chocolate chips I used. However, they are very tasty, chewy and soft. They were enjoyed by grownups and kids alike. Great alternative to the Tollhouse chocolate cookie recipes.

Throw out all the other recipes, if you like lighly crisp buttery edges and chewy middles this recipe is for you. And, I actually think that they get better overnight if you can make them last that long!

Best chocolate chip cookies ever!! I didn't have molasses so I substituted honey and they turned out perfect. I will use this recipe from now on. I will probably use milk chocolate chips next time just becasue I prefer them.

I have made the Tollhouse recipe for years, they always turned out flat, unless I refrigerate the dough for at least an hour. I added the molasses, my husband said he could taste it, so I have made this recipe 3 times this week with 1/8 c. molasses. The whole family loves them. Makes a good recipe great! Thank you.

THESE ARE REALLY GOOD!! I have been having a hard time with Toll House cookies lately...too crispy or the dough too thin or something and was going to give up on homemade CC cookies until now!! I did not tell anyone about the "secret ingredient" and nobody said anything about a different flavor at all, just that they were really good. This is now MY chocolate chip cookie recipe!! Many thanks for sharing to you and your aunt ;o)

mine turned out looking EXACTLY like the picture posted for this. i agree it was very flat...but i love it flat. i could taste the molasses a little but that's not a bad thing and it wasn't too strong. crisp on the outside, chewy and soft on the inside. this isn't my favorite cookie recipe but i give it 5 stars because my kids seem to think so. especially my daughter who isn't a fan of chocolate chip cookie in particular had 4 huge cookies in a row! thanks for sharing! =)

These were alright. They are way too messy. Ungreased baking sheet was a mess. Dropping by tablespoon made them way too big. I would recommend teaspoon instead. Next time I make these(if i do)i won't use the molasses as it gave it a weird taste.
