Not so good. Maybe if the recipe had called for baking powder I would have enjoyed it more. These do not rise, baking just sets the bar and they are very thick and heavy. I did not add choclolate chips and that may have made them better because they were not very sweet, either. Sorry, I had to pitch them. : (

I made a half recipe of these so easy-to-fix taste treats for 2 of us as written & baked them in an 11x7 baking dish, so they were a bit smaller in stature than normal for the recipe & I reduced cook time accordingly. I did not miss the usual choc fix brownie in the least & was esp impressed w/how low-cal & low-fat they are w/o sacrificing their richness. Served w/frozen vanilla yogurt, my sweet-tooth DH was a happy camper. Thx for sharing this recipe w/us. :-)

oh man, these were DELICIOUS. I just recently made a blondies following a diff recipe and they came out rock hard after cooling but the cooking time for this worked much better! the problem with saucepan brownies is when you check for doneness they still look a little fudgy and undone in the middle, which they are supposed to! but yeah, the cooking time for these was spot on! I spread some melted white chocolate on the top of these and they tasted great! Perfect for the extra WOW factor in holiday bag stuffers. Oh man, this is THE best recipe. My new fav brownie!
