  1. Preheat oven to 180-190° celsius.
  2. Melt butter in saucepan. toss in oats to toast gently about 9 minutes.
  3. Beat egg, sugar and syrup till foamy.
  4. Beat in milk and vanilla.
  5. Add flour, raisins and baking powder to cooled oats.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Combine dry ingredients with egg mixture and blend well.
  8. Drop good sized balls onto baking sheet.
  9. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  10. Cool.
