Two and a half stars. These are peanut butter rice crispie treats, not the healthier granola bar type snack I was looking for. Very sugary with all the marshmallows. Very peanut buttery as well. The only person who ended up eating any of these (after we all sampled them initially) was the peanut butter lover in the house, but even she didn't particularly like them and never finished the pan.
Loved these! THE BEST granola bars I've ever made. Thanks for a great recipe!
We cut these into 1x1 inch squares. Fabulous for snacking!
These granola bars are terrific! My kids can go through a 24-count box of the store-bought chewy granola bars in seconds, it seems! These bars get two thumbs up from the kids. I followed the recipe to the letter and even my raisin-hating son loved them. I'm looking forward to experimenting and seeing what other flavour combinations I can come up with. Thank you for this great recipe!
These are GRReat. I love them, they are so chewy and moist. I made them and then wrapped them up in individual wrappers and the kids love them. thanks for sharing
These are yummy!!They are nice and chewy with lots of flavor, and are better than any you can get in the store. I used milk chocolate/peanut butter chips instead of the semi-sweet. Thanks for the tip about using the 2nd pan to push the sticky mixture down. It worked really slick!! My family loved these alot, so I know I will be making them often. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe...it is definitely a keeper.
I have made several granolas and have never been happy-well this one is the best. I crumbled it on my yogurt (I don't care much for yogurt) with a few pecans and banana slices and it was so good I went back for more. Thanks for a great recipe.
I tagged this for Zaar tag. This was excellent!!! I used 2 C. quick cooking oats, and 2 C. old fashioned oats. I also used Honey roasted Pnut butter. This is easy, quick and delicious. Thanks for a winner of a recipe!! Karen
