Very yummy slightly addictive slice you would never guess that its made from weetbix recipe was given to my mum by a friend of hers

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. preheat oven to 160c.
  2. lina a 20cm square slice tin.
  3. combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  4. press into tin HARD.
  5. bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
  6. ICING.
  7. mix all three ingredients
  8. pour over slice and allow to cool in tin.

5 stars plus plus !! Next time I will double the recipe as it is so wonderful.I had to use rice bubbles instead of weetbix but I don't think at the end of the day it altered the recipe much . I did not even get to ice it as I came home from work and more than half had been devoured by the children !!!

The recipe is a bit incomplete in that really you need to melt the butter in the microwave until only just liquid (not hot), then whisk in the vanilla and egg (hence why the butter must not be hot, otherwise you'll scramble the egg!), then incorporate all the liquids into a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and mix.

I've made this a couple times now. So quick, easy and delicious! So good I had to take it to my mothers to stop me from eating all of it. Loved by the whole family
