Chewy Chocolate Macaroons

These came out not sweet enough and TOO chewy. Almost inedible. Don't use unsweetened chocolate for this recipe!


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  3. Drop from teaspoon, 1 inch apart, onto well-greased baking sheets.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F, for 10 to 12 minutes.
  5. Remove immediately from baking sheets.
  6. Makes 8 dozen.
  7. Note: the vanilla can be substituted with almond extract.
