A delicious, simple mayo-free cole slaw, from an classic guitarist! I like to add just under a teaspoon of finely minced or grated onion to this; but sometimes it's nice to have "as is". The amount of hot sauce can be adjusted, but I like it just like this.

This was soooo Yummy! I made this to go with barbecue. After his first bite my husband said "I like this kind better" , meaning the vinegar dressing instead of mayo. This will be made often.

Directions

  1. Whisk together the vinegar, oil,sugar, dry mustard, hot sauce and salt to combine. Pour onto cabbage and toss thoroughly. Chill a bit before serving.
