This is my mom's recipe. It is so easy and so delicious!
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 frozen pie crust
- Stir together all ingredients until blended and pour into pie crust.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown (Center should be jiggly, but not runny- pie will firm as it cools).
This pie is so delicious and very easy to make. I did substitute 1/2 cup of the white sugar with 1/2 cup of light brown sugar. I had tried another recipe, but this one is definitely the best! This is a pie I will make many times again. Thank you!
This was a super easy pie to make and it turned out perfect. I have been looking for this recipe. My grandmother used to make it for me. This one is definately a keeper and a do-over and over again. Thanks.
