Oh my my my...this is fantastic...crusty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Wonderful flavour. I mixed the water and strawberry yogurt together before actually putting it into the breadmaker just so that the yogurt would be evenly distributed. Instead of dried cherries (didn't have any) i used raisins...still really yummy!!! I sprinkled some sesame seeds on the top of the dough just before it started baking....oh this is wonderful. I selected the dark crust on my breadmaker. This is one bread I will be making again and again. Maybe next time, I will use the ski yogurt, the ones where the vanilla yogurt is seperated from the fruits, that make make it look and taste even better. Five star PLUS!!
Made this bread yesterday....made the larger loaf 1 1/2 pound and it turned out wonderful. Had to take a slice and taste it...MMMM! This will definitely be one I will make again and again. Will try it with different flavors of yogurt too.
This bread was delicious. The only problem I had was it fell in the middle of the baking cycle so I had a loaf with a big hole in it. I followed the directions exactly, so based on the previous reviews I assume this was a fluke and I will definitely try this again
I should call this my mistake bread because I messed it up so badly! :) But.....it still was absolutely wonderful! I made a 1 1/2 pound load using 1 1/2 cups of bread flour and 1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour, but the flour mixture was intentional. Then, I discovered that someone had eaten the cherry yogurt, so I used strawberry instead. Next, I realized that I didn't have enough dried cherries, so I chopped up dried apples in the food processor to equal 3/4 cup. Then, I baked as usual. What a treat! It was even better toasted and spread with butter and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Thanks, Karen. My mistake bread was wonderful. I'll try it the correct way soon.
