Hey there, this was a wonderful dessert. I made it for a baby shower and it was a big hit. Very creamy cheesecake-like filling with the delicious cherries. Merlot is right. The salty crust goes well with the sweet creamy filling. Looked beautiful too. Thanks a bunch.

Made this for potluck @ work and still get asked for the recipe. Changed 2 things- I NEVER use margarine (unsalted butter instead), and added just a dash of almond extract to the cherries (I used dark cherries because that's what I had).
