Cherry Oat Muffins

I found this one in my email today from I love everything that goes into these muffins, so they are bound to be good.

Very yummy! These muffins were moist and very tasty. I will be making these again in the near future.

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Line muffin tins with paper liners.
  3. In large bowl, combine oats, oat bran, brown sugar, flour, baking powder and baking soda and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine oil, buttermilk, and eggs and mix with fork until blended.
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix 20-30 strokes just until dry ingredients disappear.
  6. Gently stir in cherries.
  7. Batter should be lumpy.
  8. Fill prepared muffin tins 2/3 full with batter.
  9. Bake for 17-20 minutes until light golden brown.
  10. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
