Yummy muffins Dancer.......Added a tsp of almond extract for a little zip and dipped the warm tops in melted butter then in sugar. Loved them! Thank You!

these are great...i added a handful of mini choc. chips to 1/2 the batter and it made them outstanding!!! (this recipe made 14 muffins for me)

These muffins not only taste great, they are extremely pretty! They would be perfect for a little girl's tea party or a baby shower. I made them according to the recipe and we all loved them. When I suggested adding almond extract everyone protested because they were afraid I'd mess them up. LOL! Great recipe Dancer^! I know I'll be using it again.

I just made this & followed the recipe exact. I even added a teaspoon of almond flavoring. I also sprinkled cane sugar on the tops for the last 5 minutes of baking. And, while these are very good, they are still pretty bland to me. Next time, I will add a little more sugar (I think another quarter cup would help) & some cherry flavoring (I am going to try a half teaspoon) along with the almond flavoring. The recipe made 12 by the way & took me 20 minutes to bake in an electric oven. I liked it, but it still needs a bit more 'something'.

These were great! I used splenda for baking and they turned out picture perfect...great for Valentines day.

I made these good easy muffins for Valentine's this morning. I think I would like real cherry muffins better but these pleased my maraschino-preferred fam. Nice texture and baked up perfectly.

These muffins are so yummy. They have a dense texture because I just notice that I forgot to add the milk. The milk was not written in the direction, that's why I forgot. My son likes them so much. I'll try them later with the milk ;) Thanks Dancer :) Made for Name that ingredient tag game

These are really pretty looking. Next time I make them I'll either do 1/2 AP flour with 1/2 Pastry flour or I'll try it with all pastry flour. I want a little bit of a lighter texture, but that's just my personal preference. Thanks for posting, it's a wonderful recipe.

WAY TO GO DANCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband works long hours and starts earlier then the rooster crows. Its hard to get everything done and get to bed before midnight, and then get up and make breakfast. So I started a muffin in lunch box and with coffee. He LOVES cherries. Not a fan myself. So when I saw these I was like why not? Well.. am so glad I tried them. They are terribly pretty. Almost scared to eat them because it would mess them up. I did add some almond, good balance against the marashino cherries. I dont like cherries of any kind and I like these muffins. My husband was surprised something so pretty was just as tasty. Thanks for making my life so much easier... Oh my youngest daughter LOVES them. She said AWESOME. So you know they are great. She is a picky eater... Again thank you so TERRIBLY much for posting this. Next time I might try a crumble top with some dry cranberries. As is is perfect. I got twelve large muffins too. Had to cook five minutes more, but my oven is weird... lol thanks again..
