  1. Great recipe! The entire family enjoyed it. Definately something I'm going to hold on to in the future. A simple recipe that is easy to make. Each mouthful delivers a luxurious taste. Whats more to ask for? Thank you Baby Kato. Keep posting awesome recipes.

  2. These came out surprisingly good! I used whole wheat flour, and instead of the cherries I used dried fruit. I'm not sure what the recipe implies, but I used fresh mission figs (not dried). The only thing I might change next time is add a little extra vanilla extract or maybe some cinnamon to the dough. Great breakfast/snack since its dough-y, almost bread-like. Thanks!

  3. Except for increasing the figs to 1 cup & the cherries to 1/3 cup, I followed this recipe & had a wonderful taste treat! Another time I MIGHT use dried cherries & see how that goes ~ as long as they don't overpower the figs! Thanks for this great recipe!

  4. These were very nice, soft and sweet. Pretty too. It's funny when you look at them you almost expect them to be chocolate chip cherry bars but nope! I wonder if dried cherries would also work? Thanks for the unusual recipe to try. Made for 1-2-3 hit wonders.

  5. Five stars all the way, my fruit-loving DH devoured these in no time, the only change I made was I increased the vanilla by 1 teaspoon and reduced the sugar by 1/4 cup, great recipe BK!...Kitten :)

I am a very lucky lady. I recently moved to a very small town in New Brunswick, Canada with my wonderful husband who is my best friend. Very fortunate to have a cherished son, wonderful daughter in law and adorable granddaughter and cute wee grandson. We are very blessed. A big thank you to everyone that has made my recipes... hope you enjoyed them.
