This was a pretty good recipe, it definitely needed some salt and pepper. Besides that it was very tender. I put mine in the crockpot on low for 6 1/2 hours and on high for 2 hours. My girls wouldn't eat it, but I have yet to find a roast that they will eat. Overall pretty good, unfortunately I will not be making it again due to the girls not eating it.

YUM!!! This is by far the best pot roast that I have ever had. The roast came out tender and sooo delicious. I didn't find it sweet at all, which was honestly my fear, and I didn't need any cornstarch; it made a fabulous gravy all on its own (and I'm not a gravy fan.) Thanks!! This is the only pot roast recipe I will use from now on!

Outstanding! I used a pork roast, and cooked it in the oven. I agree with Shari2 that in the oven I would double the gravy ingredients. I could not believe I was out of cream of mushroom soup and had to use cream of chicken instead. I am so pleased with the results I think I will do it that way ALL the time. I added some quartered red potatoes and a package of baby carrots. A perfect 1 pot meal!!

This turned out okay. It was a little too sweet for my liking. I've never made the pot roast with regular cola, so I don't know how it compares. I used a beef roast and it would probably have been better with the pork roast. I'll probably look for a new recipe next time.

I made this last night! It turned out GREAT! It actually put my mother's pot roast to shame! Thanks for sharing this wonderful, fun recipe.

My family and I thought this was so delicious. I have made more than a few "cola" roasts and this is one of the best. The meat was fork tender and it made a lot of delicious gravy, which we put on our rice. Thanks, Charmie. See you in menus.

This worked very well as an all day cock-pot recipe with a boneless pork loin roast. It made a ton of gravy and a very tender roast. I added baby carrots and mushrooms halfway through cooking time and served with mashed potatoes. I was somewhat disappointed with the result. We found the slightly sweet flavor to be interesting and different, okay but not outstanding.

Wonderful and easy pot roast! I did it all in my crockpot on low all day. Then I made the gravy while the roast was being cut. :) Thanks, Charmie777!

This is an incredible and easy meal! The flavor was great, and the meat was very tender with good gravy! Definitely a "keeper."

This turned out wonderful, and was super-easy, even for a beginner cook like myself. The gravy comes out just sweet enough, and goes well with potatoes.

We added garlic powder instead of the minced garlic & poured some celery flakes on top of the roast. We didn't use the cornstarch or water. It was a great tasting recipe & the roast was so tender.

Very moist and tender roast recipe. I used a beef roast and followed the recipe exactly. The roast just fell apart. I paired it with the Italian Parmesan Bread for Bread Machine #155369 by Charmie777 some fresh green beans and white rice and ended up with a wonderful meal.

This made a wonderful and delicious pot roast. The gravy was just right without the cornstarch. I made in crockpot and cooked all day. Served with Glazed (Candied) Carrots Glazed (Or Candied) Carrots. Thanks for sharing. Will use this again for sure.

This is a fantastic recipe! I've used other 'cola' recipes before but this is by far the best! Only change I made was using Mountain Dew Code Red in place of cola. I did go ahead with some cornstarch to thicken it up and it worked great! Took your advice and served with mashed potatoes. I ended up having to send some with my husband to the office because he just had to share! Thanks so much!

Wow the pork was so tender and the gravy was so tasty. Next time I will double the ingredients for more gravy. This was so quick and easy to put together and the house smelled wonderful while it was cooking. Thank you Charmie for a great recipe!!!
