Mom hand-wrote this recipe into her cookbook after she had made her additions to the 1992 edition.
- 1 (16 ounce) can bing cherries
- 1 (16 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 1 (6 ounce) package black cherry Jell-O
- 12 ounces cola, beverage
- 1⁄2 cup chopped pecans
- Drain fruit; measure syrups; add water to make 2 cups. Heat to boiling, add Jello to dissolve, add cola. Chill to a syrup; add fruit and nuts. Chill.
