When I'm craving something cold and smooth and there's no ice cream in sight. I've added flax seed to my drink before but most people thinks it makes it taste "weird."
- 2 cups crushed ice
- 1⁄2 cup raw whole milk
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon sour cherry marmalade (Casa Giulia Brand)
- 3⁄4 teaspoon stevia
- 1⁄2 tablespoon cocoa powder
- Blend in blneder until smooth.
- Pour into glasses.
Great ideas for flavor combination and keeping it low calorie! However, I found I needed to add a LOT more (like three times more) cocoa and maraschino cherries (in lieu of marmalade) to be able to taste them. Thanks for a frosty treat!
