These juicy hamburgers are also good for you. The sour cherries greatly reduce the formation of harmful chemicals (HCA) found in barbecued meat. Use fresh when in season but canned or frozen are just as good.

  1. Dice or grind cherries.
  2. Gently mix the first 4 ingredients together and form into 3 patties.
  3. Make an indent in the center of each burger with your thumb to prevent shrinkage.
  4. Grill to your liking remove from heat and top with the cheese.
