Inspired by the Cher-Berry smoothie recipe at an online website. One serving size.
- 3 ice cubes
- 1⁄2 cup blueberries, frozen
- 1⁄2 cup frozen cherries
- 1⁄2 banana
- 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar
- 1⁄2 cup water
- If making in a personal blender, put frozen ingredients first, then add banana, sugar and water. Reverse for standard blender. Mix on low for 30 seconds until mixed, then on high for a minute or so until smooth.

I am drinking a smoothie every morning and making up recipes to change it up. I make a similar recipe to this one but I use frozen cherries, fresh blueberries, no ice, organic orange juice, honey, wheat germ, banana and a splash of almond extract. It comes out so good. It's my husband's favorite smoothie out of all the ones I've made!
I doubled the recipe for the 2 of us, & then left out the ice cubes & used a little more than a cup of cranberry-blueberry juice instead of the water! What with the frozen berries & banana, this smoothie was great, & the smoothie lover that I am, I'll keep your recipe around! Thanks for sharing it! [Made & reviewed just for the 'halibut!']
