  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Coat six 4-ounce ramekins with butter-flavored cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream and Dijon mustard; stir in chopped spinach leaves.
  4. Divide mixture evenly among prepared ramekins.
  5. Divide tomatoes and Jarlsberg cheese evenly among ramekins.
  6. Place ramekins on baking sheet.
  7. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until eggs are set and golden brown.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired.

I really enjoyed this recipe! Although there is not any spices noted... I added salt, pepper, and dried or fresh basil within the recipe instead of a garnish! I also added finely chopped green onion, sundried tomato and diced red pepper Much more flavor this way ( ;

This is so easy, while looking very impressive! I put this together for a mid-week supper, and we felt as if we were having a Special Occasion meal! I didn't have butter-flavoured spray, so used normal cooking spray, otherwise, just as directed, and they turned out perfectly. I will make this lovely dish again, and since my children are not great spinach lovers, will try adding some chopped cooked bacon, and maybe a little onion, sun-dried tomatoes might also be a nice variation, I suspect these Strata are very versatile!
