    I got this recipe years ago from a Kraft magazine ad. It is a family favorite and a great way to use up left over rice. Makes a great side dish to grilled meats. Prep time includes time to steam rice. Prep time using leftover rice is about 5 minutes

      In a greased baking dish, mix together all ingredients.

      Bake at 350 degrees until heated thru and cheese is melted.

      About 20 min or so. Dig in!

      This turned out very bland and it wasn't very creamy. The rice was cooked with some chopped onion, chicken broth, butter, salt and pepper and it still had very little taste.

      This was good. I was happy with how quick it was and how it was made with ingredients that I had on hand. I do think that I'm going to be playing around with it though. My DH didn't like how much he could taste the sour cream in it. I think next time I'm going to add ham cubes, green onion and some garlic salt. I also want to top it with some crushed ritz crackers, think the texture will compliment the creamy rice. Thanks for posting an easy recipe, it made a nice dinner. Made for Alphabet Soup Tag.

      Was a little disappointed. I added a bit of thyme, pepper and some garlic salt, and still found it a little bland, though it did have a bite with the cayenne. Not sure what was missing. If I do try again, I might use Merlot's suggestion of adding a can of green chilies. Sounds like a good idea.
