It tasted great but I changed a lot of things. I didn't have any chicken bouillon granuals so I just added some chicken broth and I didn't add the onion, celery, bacon or chives. I either didn't have it or I didn't have enough. Although I did add fresh chopped ham and cut back on the salt since the ham gives it some saltiness. It was still great even with all the changes I made! Next time I will have everything. Thanks for the recipe!
With this recipe I found how to make the soup I have always dreamed of! I actually added tons more cheese, A cup of parmesean, shredded american, goat cheese, and some mexican white cheese. It is super yummy. I also used the already made real bacon bits from the salad dept. to put on top and my oh my!!! Everyone love loves my soup...well yours ha! I forgot to add tat to give it a little zing...I added about a teaspoon full of crushed red pepper. This is truly heaven in soup bowel!

My fiance doesn't care much for potato soup but I just made this for supper with some homemade english muffin bread and it was AWESOME! We both loved it!! Thanks for posting it! I will definitely be making this again!! ~Chef Nichol~

I made this to take to an ailing Alderman in our town. I mad a triple batch with no problems at all. I didn't have celery but found some celery salt and used roughly 1/4 tsp of that. Don't know if that is an accurate substitution but it was great nonetheless. I was really surprised at how fantastic this soup was and it was really easy to put together, Didn't even have to drain the potato water!! I made enough so that I could have a bowl last night and it is wonderful...thanks for a great recipe that I will be making again and again.
This was delicious!! My son is a very picky eater, and he LOVED this! I can't wait to make it this winter when it is really cold outside.
Excellent! This made more than 2 servings but that's just fine as it is so good. The only change I might make next time, is to saute the onions and celery before adding to the soup. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Deely beat me to it! But that's okay. I just finished eating your Cheesy Potato Soup....it's great. Perfect comfort food for a cold winter's night. For me soup's on any time of the year. It's a definite repeat performer. As a matter of fact I have some friend who I think would love this recipe. If it's alright with you, I'll make copies and give them.
