Juicy mushrooms oozing with scrumptious melted cheese, served on a bed of lettuce. Wonderful flavour and an easy recipe to have as an appetizer.
- 8 large flat mushrooms
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 3 1⁄2 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
- green salad, to serve
- Place the mushrooms on a roasting sheet and scatter with garlic and thyme. Drizzle with the oil and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Grill for 5 minutes, top with grated cheese and grill for 1 minute, until melted. Serve with a green salad.
