cheesy chowder

I got this recipe from my mother who got it from my cousin Karen. Good on a chilly fall evening.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. saute all vegetables in the butter.
  2. add chicken broth and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. blend together flour and milk.
  4. add to vegetables.
  5. stir until thickened.
  6. add cheese.
  7. salt and pepper to taste.
  8. can add 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley or other herb at this point.
  9. enjoy!
