- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 16 ounces chili without beans
- 4 ounces diced chilies
- 3 ounces shredded monterey jack cheese or 3 ounces monterey jack pepper cheese
- Thoroughly mix the cream cheese, chili, and diced chilies.
- Over low to medium heat, heat the mixture until it is fairly hot.
- Stir as necessary.
- Spread the shredded cheese on top and heat again, or broil briefly, until cheese is melted.
- Serve with tortilla chips or tostados.
