To quote my seven year old, WOWWY WOW WOW! This was delicious! I do OAMC so I had some cooked chicken in my freezer along with some frozen broccoli. I used turkey bacon and an Italian blend cheese since it was all I had. We served it over brown rice and it was wonderful! Definitely a keeper! I am making another batch tomorrow to freeze!
This was just fantastic! A delicious meal, and I am low carbing so it was a real treat. I made rice to go along with it for the rest of my family, I just had it as it was and WOW!! SUPERB!! I grilled the chicken on the barbeque, yummy! Thanks for posting a keeper! Sept 11/06: I am back to say we still just love this dish and have it quite often, it has become a regular in our household!
Very very tasty!!! I used garlic cream cheese as that's all i had in! other than that I followed the recipe exactly! As as an avid low-carber it's a keeper! Thanks for sharing
Loved this. Had to use chicken thighs and I also used packaged real bacon bits. (Already cooked and crumbled so it saved a step.) Husband ate most of it. There were not any leftovers. Thanks
This made for a great weeknight family supper, and was definitely enjoyed by all. I did find that putting the broccoli on top let it dry out quite a bit, so I would suggest pouring the sauce over the chicken, bacon & broccoli rather than adding it first. The ingredients do not specify when to add the milk, so I added it along with the sour cream. Thanks for sharing your creation.
Thank you for sharing your recipe :0) This was really tasty! My 11 year old son gave it 6 stars. You could probably reduce the liquid measurements a bit, as it was a bit soupy but the flavor was awesome, especially adding that little bit of bacon fat - yumm-o! I don't have a lot of time after work to prep meals as everyone is starving, so this was a 2 day process for me. First I cut up the bacon to bacon bit size and cooked, then I cooked the chicken in the bacon pan, next I prepped the broccoli but didn't cook it. I put it all in the fridge overnight and tonight I cooked the broccoli, made the sauce and baked. I poured the sauce over the top rather than on the bottom as another reviewer had suggested.
This sounds GREAT!I`m going to make it tonight!!
