This was tasty. I would have given five stars, but the cooking time was too long. Against my judgment, I followed the time listed. The chicken turned out dry. I subbed turkey bacon with good results. I also subbed parsley for the rosemary. I will make again, but after I adjust the cooking time. Thanks for posting!

This was okay, but it was missing something. Four cloves of garlic was too strong for the rest of the ingredients. The chicken turned out a little chewy, which I didn't expect with all the bacon drippings. I won't be making this one again, but it didn't ruin dinner either. It used up the items I had on hand. Handy recipe.

This recipe was wonderful. I've made it twice now. Like the other users, I didn't cook it quite as long. The first batch was WAY too garlic-y! However, I halved the amount of garlic, upped the bacon, cut back the cooking time and this is now one of our regular chicken recipes. Perfect for a low-carb diet. If you cut down on the bacon, it's not even that fatty!

I came here to post this after making it for a friend, and I find it already posted! Most excellent taste. I baked mine in a cast iron skillet (which I greased with bacon grease), which made the cheese get crunchy-crusty around the chicken and was to die for. I also used six slices of bacon, but then we're bacon freaks.

Wow- so simple yet very good. I used six chicken cutlets and doubled the rest of the ingredients but followed the recipe as written other then I used olive oil instead of canola as I didn't have any. Mine only took 30 minutes to cook and it was perfect. I knew this would be something I would love but the rest of the family loved it too. Great chicken dinner.

Very easy and flavorful. I followed the directions as stated and used a thick cut of chicken breasts but found the chicken to be a bit on the dry side after baking. I will make this again but will check on the chicken a bit sooner. Overall, it was a tasty dinner that was quick to prepare; I served it with a side of garlic butter brussels sprouts for a low carb dinner. Thanks for posting!

I thought this was outstanding. Family loved it too. My husband is not much on chicken, but stated he thought this chicken was very good. I fixed this last night and my son requested it again tonight. I guess I'll have to double the recipe next time. Thanks!

Have had this in my chicken cookbook for some time it is now in my keeper cookbook, absolutely delicious. I used very lean bacon so added an extra 1/2 tablespoon of canola oil as I also cooked 5 chicken breasts and 1 tablespoon of fresh ground rosemary and added about a 1/4 cup of grated parmesan to the mozzarella. Was really worried they would be dry but they were very moist, put juices over the steamed vegetables and served with mashed potatoe. Thank you CoffeeMom for a great recipe.

I have made this twice now, and love it both ways I made it. The first time I followed the directions exactly. Nothing can be simpler! The second, I wanted to make the recipe but didn't have the time to bake it. So I sprinkled the breasts with garlic power, ground rosemary and pepper and sauted them in the oil. When they were cooked through, I sprinkled them a little more garlic powder, crumbled cooked bacon and the cheese. Taste almost exactly the same, but was done in half the time. IF I have time to make it as written I prefer it that way because of the real garlic flavor, but the quick way works too! Thanks for posting one of our new family favorites!

This was so super easy to make. We thought it was a little dry, but also used very very lean chicken. Overall it was really good. Next time, I might try to mix in the bacon/garlic with a little sour cream and bake like that... yum!

Boy did we love this!! Simple, flavorful, juicy...a real table-pleaser all the way around. I used fresh rosemary instead of dried, and subbed Swiss cheese for the mozzarella. Roasted fresh asparagus and pan fried potatoes went very well with this delicious chicken. You can bet we will be making this again!!

This was really tasty! I used turkey bacon and low-fat mozz cheese. Easy to make too! Thanks so much!
