Cheeseburger Pizza

"The difference in this pizza is the homemade sauce. Feel free to add bacon or experiment with the cheese. Enjoy! My prep time includes time for the crust to rise."

 1. This was a hit! Everyone loved it, I was running short on Dill pickles, so I shredded what I had to make it go further. Also, I used mozza and cheddar, as I had no American cheese. I used the same pizza crust mentioned in the recipe, and it was way better than my normal crust. All around, this ones a keeper! Thanks :)

 2. A hit! Great sauce makes it taste just like cheeseburger. I added bacon and only half of the pickles.

 3. Very good! I made it as directed. I did chop the pickles and tore the American cheese so that every bite was delicious! My family said it tasted just like a cheeseburger. I might not add the sugar the next time, but it was like a tangy sauce as is. I added a few pieces of cooked turkey bacon as well as some spinach (always like to get. In a few extra veggies when I can). Definitely will make this again.

I am a high school teacher in Omaha, Nebraska. My love for cooking started at a young age when I used to bake goodies for my father and his coworkers. When I got out on my own, I starting cooking for friends (especially my single male friends who were living on frozen pizza).

For years now, my friends and family wait all year for my Christmas bake-a-thon. I spend two days every year making a plethora of cookies, bars, and snack mixes to give as gifts.

I love to cook because food is the one thing that brings all people together (everyone has to eat sometime!) My husband to be teases me because sometimes he does not even get through his first bite before I am asking him if he likes it.
