Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

I got this recipe in a simplymoms.com newsletter.. It's super simple but great as a weeknight dinner

• Total Time: 3 hrs 5 mins
• Prep Time: 5 mins
• Cook Time: 3 hrs

Ingredients:

Serves: 6-8

Yield: 1.0 casserole

• 2 -3 cups colby cheese , cubes
• 2 lbs ground turkey
• 1 large onion , diced
• 1 cup tomato sauce
• 2 cups shredded lettuce
• 3 tablespoons mustard
• 2 cups potatoes , sliced like French fries

Directions:

1. Brown turkey and saute onion. Mix with tomato sauce,
2. lettuce and mustard. Spoon into crock pot and cover with
3. potatoes. Cook on low 2-3 hours (high, 1 hour). If desired,
4. you may brown the potatoes by placing the casserole in
5. 400 degree oven for 15 minutes.

This is the only meal I've ever made that my husband would flat out not eat. The flavor is bizarre and there is way too much meat. Perhaps if made with beef it could be okay.
