- 1⁄2 lb cheese, grated (very sharp N.Y. cheese)
- 1⁄2 lb butter
- 1 teaspoon red pepper (scant)
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Cream butter and cheese. Add salt , pepper and flour.
- Mix well.
- Roll thin.
- Cut in desired shapes.
- Place on cookie sheet and bake in 425 degree oven until very light brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
