This recipe is from the box of "white Wings' Cornflour. Its a simple recipe - just 5 minutes from start to finish! For a gluten free version-please ensure the cornflour used is labelled as gluten free. Currently White Wings Cornflour is GF in Australia


  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Stir in the flour and cook one minute.
  3. Gradually add the milk(remove from the heat as required).
  4. Simmer 2 minutes. You must stir constantly at this point.
  5. Add the cheese and seasoning to taste.
  6. Enjoy!

This was such a delicious cheese sauce and so very quick to put together. Made it for some brocoli I had and it was fantastic. I probably put in more like 4 TBS of the grated cheddar cheese, and it was perfect. I think the dry mustard adds a nice flavor also. Will keep this to make again. Thanks for sharing Jubes.
