- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 ounces swiss cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer
- 1 dash Tabasco sauce
- French bread, cubed
directions
- Mix all ingredients except bread and melt. Put in fondue pot and dip bread into fondue. Enjoy!

This is the best cheese fondue and it is the closest recipe to my Moms recipe that I have seen on the RZ. The only thing different is my Mom adds 1/2 tsp of dry mustard at the same time as the tabasco. I would also say that if you add the cheese in smaller batches that it makes it easier to get to a nice smooth consistency.
