I usually have the ingredients for these yummy rolls on hand so that I have something to make for dinner after my husband's unsuccessful fishing trips. We eat this a lot!

My husband and I spent our Sunday doing carpentry projects around the house. I had some bakery rolls on hand that seemed just a bit dry, and remembered this recipe as a possible method to save them. It worked! :) I didn't use the entire can of green chiles, as I thought that the flavor would over-power all others. I used freshly grated sharp cheddar and garden fresh tomatoes. It was an excellent flavor blend. The tomatoes did release a lot of juice and made the sandwiches a bit messy to eat, but simple food with good flavors always wins out after a day of home improvements.
