Easy drop biscuits that go perfectly with stew.
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1⁄2 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- Combine all ingrediants except for cheese, mixing well after each addition.
- Add cheese.
- Drop large spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
