This was so cute! I added 2 Tbsp of Ranch powder to the mix b/c I served jalapeno chips with it. Jalapeno tortilla chips are green already so I didn't have to dye the chips. :) Everyone loved it.
This was incredibly easy to make and my 4-year-old had a blast helping mommy put it together! I, too, only used one package of whipped cream cheese which was more than enough. I thought it tasted a little bland, too, so I opened a package of taco seasoning and mixed in with the Mexican cheese. It made it much more flavorful without it being spicy. HOORAY!
This is SO much fun! I have made this for several years now. I think the cheese mix needs some spicing up, so I have added a minced clove of garlic, some Kosher salt and pepper, sometimes even some Montreal Seasoning. I used some dry ranch dip mixed with the cheese with good results as well. Also, I only need 1 8oz container of whipped cream cheese and 1 cup of cabbage. Be sure to bring to room temp before serving. Everybody LOVES this! Thanks for posting, 2bizzy.
This was a welcome addition to my Halloween table this year. My guests ate it right up! So cute as the centerpiece for my table too!
My guests for this years Halloween party loved this cheese ball. I served it with Ritz crackers and Triscuits around the plate. Very cute idea!
I made this for our local Halloween party. The kids loved it. Next time I will take it out of the fridge a couple of hours before serving as it was very hard and broke the crackers. Thanks
I saw Paula Deen make this, and it is so adorable! I don't normally make cutsie food things like this, but this is so creative, and I'd love to make it! Thanks for posting.
This was so easy to make, incredibly cute and really tasted great depite having very littkle in the way of seasonings. I also used a lot less whipped cream cheese for the "icing" step than called for, as I didn't think it was needed.
